I am a self-taught woodworker and turner. I have been operating as a full-time bowl turner for the last 14 years at my studio in the Mulmur Hills near Mansfield, Ontario.

While I sell a number of pieces and take commissions through my studio, most of my sales are through the Burdette Gallery near Hillsburgh, The Dragonfly in Orangeville, the Guild Shop in Toronto, on Cumberland Street, the Village Gallery in Lakefield, Ontario, Stÿll Gallery in Elora, Ryan Fine Arts & Craft in Conestoga, The McCord Museum Gallery in Montreal, Arcane Designs in Toronto and starting in November of this year, The Art Gallery of Ontario retail shop, in Toronto. A strong representation of my work over the last several years is available at www.artscolony.on.ca.

The public is welcome to come to the studio while I am working. If you want to learn about the whole process, I offer classes on a year round basis. Please contact me for details.

The method that I use is concentric ring lamination to construct bowls for turning. The process is hard to explain and easy to show. A visit to my website at www.artscolony.on.ca will provide a clearer picture. Better still, a visit to the studio is positively enlightening
