Michael's inspiration for his art was drawn from his spiritual beliefs. It is sometimes difficult to ascertain whether Michael Robinson's work and perception of life were pessimistic or hopeful, but he believed strongly in education. Making people aware of the world around them is the only hope for the future. He saw a need for a global balance. "It is important that we see the Earth as a living entity, only then can we understand where we fit in".

 

"I have worked hard at removing 'man' from the 'centre of all things' by putting him in his rightful place. Equally, among all living things."
